The Department of Management Studies began its journey in the year 2002 through its MBA programme, which is recognised by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The mission of the department is to provide quality management education and thereby moulding students as competent, high profile business executives, entrepreneurs and socially responsible corporate citizens. The vision of the Department is to become a “Centre of High-Quality Teaching-Learning” and an abode of gaining business acumen in the changing global business scenario.
The Department is functioning with a team of dedicated faculty who have proved their met- tle in industry and academia. The Department has “State of the Art” facilities and infrastruc- ture which include Internet lab, well equipped library. The students are trained in “Experiential Learning” besides the traditional lecture method so as to bring about holistic development of students.
Our department has signed MOU with Industries to enhance industries institution interaction and has tie up with universities for pooling knowledge from eminent resources. The depart- ment has AICTE sanctioned ED cell to bring out successful entrepreneurship from manage- ment and engineering students.
